About Tut Hackathon & Mss Career Days

These career days are aimed at exposing students to the needs and wants of the industry, as well as teaching them the soft skills, which students do not usually get in institutions of higher learning. This initiative was started in 2011 as the Grooming the Future marketers industry. Upon completion of chapters of their curriculum, students were expected to dress up, as if they are going for an interview or going into a meeting. They would then be given topics where they have to research on or link with their work, and then present them in front of their peers. These helped the students refine their presentation skills, and also teach them how to dress appropriately. Ms Ramokgopa also assists students with drafting their CVs as well a with interview and workplace etiquette.
